SLa recently handed over the “River Room”, a small extension and renovation to a house on the river in Chelmer that had been wiped out in the January 2011 floods. The project was primarily concerned with the reconfiguration of the core living spaces to maximise light, air and importantly, the views of the river. The wonderful clients warmly embraced the idea of a contemporary intervention to the 80’s house and thoroughly enjoyed the building process, which saw hand over on the one year anniversary of the floods! Thanks to Wayne Morgan (Waymore Constructions) who did a fantastic job of building this project for us.
Here are some before and after shots to demonstrate the change!
