Campbell House

The Campbell House designed by Don Watson, winner of the 1989 Robin Boyd Award (AIA) represents a unique take on 80’s modernism combined with late ‘arts and crafts’ inspiration. The sublime detailing throughout the brick and timber work defines this home as an iconic piece of work in the architectural landscape of Brisbane, perched delicately on the edge of the Brisbane River. We were privileged (and challenged) to carry out works to the home in order to recalibrate the spatial planning to transform the house into one that represents a considered balance of historic detail and contemporary lifestyle aspirations.
