The Long House
The Long House is a rational, contemporary home that seeks to subvert the acreage paradigm. The idea of this home is one of simple materials, modern form with a single depth plan stretched out across the east-west axis taking advantage of the north-easterly aspect. A carefully curated outdoor room is juxtaposed against the ‘negative space’ of the northern lawn playfully articulated by the ‘Ha-Ha-Wall’.
